2016 Run 2 Read Half-Marathon:
• Double out and back on 2 rail trails. The first trail, about 5 miles long, is paved & goes through the historic & restored Meredith Tunnel. The second trail is on crushed limestone & has a scenic view of the Monongahela River. The USATF certified course is ideal for a "pr".
• Finisher medals, knit hat & gloves to the first 400 finishers/registrants. . USATF sanctioned event. Hour long videos from the 2009 race & the 2013 race are on You Tube.
• Race news is posted on Facebook. Awards presented as runners finish. Lots of post-race food. Second year for 1pm start time. USATF sanctioned event. First race in MCPARCrace series. First leg of Run to Read Triple Crown.
