Tri for Love is an event held honoring Taylor Love. Taylor, now 10, is surviving 2 childhood cancers. She has battled cancer, and the side effects to her treatments for over 9 years. Tri for Love supports Taylor's medical expenses and furthers awareness and action needed to help conquer this much neglected childhood disease.
Tri for Love Traithlon is a USAT Sanctioned Retro Series Event. "Events in the Retro Tri Series focus on participant fun rather than competition. The aim of the events is to introduce the sport of triathlon and educate race participants about healthy and active multisport lifestyle. The events are open to first-timers as well as seasoned veterans."
Due to W&OD Trail Regulations, the bike portion of this event is not timed. Tri for Love is a great event for both seasoned triahtletes as well as those trying it out for the first time. We look forward to you joining us on Sunday September 17, 2015.

Course Information:
The swim is a 400 yd indoor swim in The Herndon Community Center 25 yd pool.
The bike portion is a 15.4 mile ride on the W@OD Trail from Ferndale Avenue to Ashburn Road and back.
The run is a 3.1 mile run along the W@OD horse trail.
Bike & Helmet Check will be at Bicycle Outfitters in Brambleton, VA the afternoon of Saturday Septmerber 26, 2015. Time to be annoucned.
