We are so excited to Co-Sponsor a Back to School Bash & 5K Color Dash with the Dream Riders of Monroe County! This is a fundraiser for both non profit organizations that will benefit the children of Monroe County! Also, JA will be having its annual School Supply Drive at the event and at Wal-Mart.
The fun-filled day will start out with the 5K Color Dash @ 8AM. Online registration is now until July 30th. Price is $35 until July 1st and will increase to $45 until Race Day. If registered before July 15th, each registration will include a tshirt (with the logo to the left) and a pair of neon sunglasses! We will accept registration the day of the race, but cannot gaurantee a tshirt or sunglasses after July 15th.
After the race, we will start the Back to School Bash and will have loads of entertainment for children like a dunking booth, jumpers, food stands, facepainting, games, and more! The Back to School Bash will be a free event for everyone of all ages. (some games will be an additional cost).
We will end the day with a parade! For a small fee, you can also be in the parade! (More info to come.)
We will also have a drop off location for school supplies. Last year we delivered over 60 bookbags stuffed with school supplies to poverty-stricken children just in Monroe County Schools.
