A competitive and fun run with Beer, Money & Giving Back. The Quadrant 5k Runtoberfest will take place on October 17, 2015 at European Street in Riverside. This awesome event will prequel the European Street Oktoberfest Celebration. At the conclusion of the race, runners and participants will be able to enjoy the festivities, reward and free beer.
The race will feature two heats beginning at 5p. The elite race will be a heat featuring qualifying times with the top 15 men's and women's time receiving an award at the finish line. In addition cash prizes for this race will have the largest cash payout of any 5k race this season, see details listed below. The open race will follow and the times from the races will be combined to determine the age group winners.
This race is benefitting the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF). CAF is an amazing organization that changes lives by providing support, opportunities and hope to people with physical disabilities so that they can pursue active lifestyles though sport. Learn more at Facebook.com/CAForg.
