Spring Hill, FL US 34609 Description Men and Women riders will have the opportunity to ride the beautiful Suncoast Trail that will start at Anderson Snow park in Spring Hill Florida. Why Ladies First Cycling? October is National Breast Cancer awareness month and Destination Training wants to raise funds for the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation. This event is open to men, women, and childen (accompanied by an adult). This event will include a fully supported ride that includes cycling pacers. Course: The Suncoast Trail is part of Florida's Statewide Greenways and Trails System. The parallels the Suncoast Parkway, beginning in northern Hillsborough County, and heads north through Pasco and Hernando counties. 22 Miles: Heading South From Anderson Snow Park, ride to our first sag stop (11 miles) and then turn around and head back. 37 Miles: Head North from Anderson Snow park and ride 18.5 miles to the northern most trail head, then head back. There will be a sag stop at the 9 mile mark and the 18.5 mile mark. 47 miles: Head South from Anderson Snow Park and ride to the Southern most trail head, then head back. There will be a sag stop at the 11 mile mark and the 23.5 mile mark. 84 miles (Suncoast Challenge): This is a ride for those cycle enthusiasts who love to go the distance. Start by heading south from Anderson Snow Park and ride to the southern most trailhead. From there you will head back up the trail to the northern most trail head. Finally, make your way back to Anderson Snow park. Suncoast Challenge: Riders who complete the Suncoast Challenge will receive a commemorative Finisher’s Medal to show off to their friends. Pacers A cycling pacer is a rider that is in charge of a group of riders that maintain a specific speed through out the course. Amenities Fully supported rest stops with food and beverages that will be better than most cycling events. We use Ride with GPS in order to track your location on the course (you must download the app on your phone for this feature to work). .
