This event runs along the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. It starts with a swim in Lake Michigan, a bike ride on Lake Shore Drive and finishes with a street run.
The duathlon starts with a beach run, continues on with a bike ride on Lake Shore Drive and finishes with a street run.
The adult events are USAT sancctioned.
Directions:
Washington Park is located on Lake Michigan's southern-most shore. Michigan City is less than an hour from Chicago, which is easily reached via South Shore railroad, as well as I-94 and the Indiana Toll Road.
