Welcome to the SEVENTH running of the Bee Linked 5K Run/ Walk! The race has several purposes: to encourage our current team to work hard during the summer, to link the current team to Zee-Bee alumni, and to motivate the community to embrace a healthy lifetstyle.
This race is our only fundraiser for the year; all proceeds go toward clothing and trips for the young men and women of the Zion-Benton Township High School Cross Country Teams.
Course Information:
The 3-mile course is cross country-style, but it is fast! It is primarily flat grass with a few short sections of pavement to cross. There are three loops, starting behind the Sports Arena then weaving through Shiloh Woods and ending back around the Sports Arena.
Directions:
Zion is located onthe border between Illinois and Wisconsin. The Zion Park District Sports Arena sits in the center of town. From 94, take 173 east to Bethesda Blvd. Turn right (south) onto Bethesda to Dowie Drive. Turn left onto the circle and park at the Zion Park District.
