The main course is 3.1 miles (give or take a .1) and suited for Ages 12 to Adult.  Participants should plan to be climbing walls, balancing beams, crawling up mountains of mud, and hanging suspended over - you got it - mud.  Only the best of the best will finish the course and make it through all the obstacles.  Participants under the age of 18 will require a guardian's consent to enter the event.

A smaller obstacle course has been designed for children Ages 6 to 11, with challenges for the small in size, but big in heart.  Everything the big guys are doing, but on a smaller scale, including kid size mud!

Yes, we will be digging up the flower beds and replacing them with mud (...but just for the weekend) again.  Yes, there will still be trails, obstacles and mud - just more of it for 2015!  In addition, we are adding our Super Special Fun Course for our Miracle League kiddos and their families.  

The first heat begins at 7:00 am, with heats running every 15 minutes thereafter.  When you register, be sure to choose your preferred heat.  Heats will be available on a first come-first serve basis, so register early to secure your spot!  This is not an officially timed race, however, a clock will be available at the start and finish line so that you can time yourself, or your team.

Make it Fun
Participants are encouraged to make this a fun and memorable event by dressing in their favorite costume, running as a team with a theme, wearing your on the go camera to post to Facebook - the opportunities for fun are endless.  Remember that this is a family event, so dress and costumes must be appropriate.  The Run It Like It's Hot Roving Judges will be moving in and out the crowd throughout the day, and will be awarding prizes for Best Costume, Best Team Theme, etc.  Don't miss out on your chance to take home the gold!

Last year's event saw more than 1100 runners participate.  Nearly $90,000 was raised, with ALL proceeds going to the construction of the Miracle League Baseball Field for special needs children.  We are so close to meeting our goal that a special ground breaking for the field has been scheduled for the day before the run.  The field will be located at the same location of the run - Lear Park Athletic Complex.  This field will serve some 18,000 eligible children and their families.
