This is triathlon is dubbed The Worldest Highest Triathlon with an open water swim at a breathtaking elevation of 8,730 feet. While the altitued is extreme the triathlon itself is perfect for first time and life-long triathletes. You provide the training, we’ll provide the post race beer. See you all in the mountains for the World’s Highest Triathlon
The swim begins at North Pond (open water), while the bike course trails along HWY 9 up to UTE Pass. Finish with a strong run along the Blue River and HWY 9 for an altitude driven competition you can’t miss. Two distances are offered, a Sprint Distance (400 meter swim, 12 mile road bike, & 3.1 mile run) and Olympic Distance (800 meter swim, 20 mile road bike, 6.2 mile run).
