2015 Scottsbluff Family YMCA Sprint Triathlon:
• Join us for the third annual sprint triathlon in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. We've got the best scenery in Nebraska.
• The swim is in an indoor pool, but the bike route goes over historic Mitchell pass on the Oregon trail. The run is along the North Platte river with a great view of historic Scotts Bluff National Monument, an important landmark on the trail. Likely, you'll be in the company of wild Canada geese on the run.
Course Information:
• We begin with a 300 yard zig-zag swim in the Y pool.
• Following is a 13-mile out-and-back bike ride over the top of Mitchell Pass.
• The run is a 5K out-and-back on the paved Pathway along the North Platte river.
