Event Description:
• GPP EVERYMAN Series is please to announce an addition to the series. Introducing Sprint the Bend Triathlon powered by Energizer. It's a course you are familiar with and have most likely raced before. EVERYMAN wants to continue a tradition of the fast and fun this course and venue provides.
• Sprint the Bend is a USA Triathlon Sanctioned Sprint Distance Triathlon consisting of a 500 yard open water swim at Horseshoe Bend in Beaver Lake. The 15 mile bike ride is on Hwy 94-Pleasant Ridge Rd-New Hope Rd-Monte Ne Rd back up the infamous CHICKEN HILL on Hwy 94 back to Horseshoe Bend Park Recreational Area before transitioning to a 5K run through the beautiful campsite/park area.
• Finisher medals and age group awards will be presented.
• This event will be included in the EVERYMAN 2015 points Series.
• Registration fee includes t-shirt and parking.
