The 2015 Super Hero 5K Run/Walk Event is being held in Memory of and to celebrate Matthew W. Stahl's Birthday! We are raising money for True Friends Animal Welfare Center in Montrose, Pa. Start/Finish is on the track at Montrose Jr/Sr. High School. The route takes runners and walkers on hard roads, dirt roads and our beautiful Endless Mountains Riding Trail. Walkers will be taking a "short cut" back to the finish line while runners go just over 5k. The course has rollings hills.
WE encourage EVERYONE to wear a Super Hero Costume or a Cape!!!!
There will be free babysitting for runners with younger kids as running strollers are NOT allowed on the trail. Bib numbers are used for ID when children are dropped off and picked up.
While the race is in progress, there will be Kids field day activities, a super hero photo shoot and a kids half mile fun run.
A massage therapist and chiropractor will be on the field offering free services to race participants and accepting donations from non-participants for services. There will also be an awesome raffle with a variety of gift baskets and gift cards.
We will have prizes for first and last place runners because we believe that just finishing a race is an amazing accomplishment!
