Music in Motion 5k Run:
Do you love kids? Do you love music? Do you love healthy lifestyles? Then the Music In Motion 5K is for you! This 5K will help benefit three schools in Moore, Oklahoma that were affected by the May 2013 tornado: Briarwood Elementary, Highland East Jr. High, and Plaza Towers Elementary. The goal of this 5K is to raise funding for their music programs and encourage a healthy living style for their students!
The 5K is being sponsored by the Delta chapters of Tau Beta Sigma and Kappa Kappa Psi, the music service sorority and fraternity at OU. The event will take place on OU's campus and will be on April 18, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. The $30 registration includes a t-shirt, granola bar, and water. Please help us support the students at these schools and rebuild their music programs!
Course Information:
The course is run around the Norman campus and is in good condition and minimal incline.
Directions:
The Music in Motion 5k is run on the University of Oklahoma's campus in Norman, OK.
Once you have arrived in Norman:
From I-35 take the W Lindsay Street exit and go East.
In 2 miles turn left on Elm Avenue.
There will be a parking garage in 0.5 miles on the West side of the road with free parking.
