2015 Earth Day 5K Run/Walk:
• Saturday, April 18, 2015
• 5K begins at 9:00am
• Kids 1K begins at 10:00am
Race notes:
• We will once again have a WALKER category for those who want to participate at a walking pace. (Prizes will be awarded to the top M/F walkers.)
• We will also have an UNTIMED category for those who want to run or walk without the hassle of having your time posted on the Internet for all eternity.
• ALL PROCEEDS from this year’s event will be split between Luray Elementary School’s new Girls on the Run Club and Springfield Elementary’s efforts to build a running track. (We LOVE our young runners!!)
• And thanks to another grant from Virginia Healthy Youth Foundation, Page County kids can register for FREE with a paying adult.
• We hope you’ll join us for the 5th annual Luray Earth Day 5K/1K on the Greenway!
