The 4th annual TOUGHTEEN Triathlon will take place in Croton Point Park Sunday September 13, 2015 as part of the Toughman Triathlon weekend festival.

Bike 6 miles
Run 2.5 miles
Insurance
You must have USA Triathlon insurance coverage to compete in the race. You can choose from an annual membership ($15 for ages 15-17, $45 for ages 18-19) or a 1-day license ($10 youth, $12 adult). You have the option of purchasing membership during your registration.
Fees
Individual $65
No Relays available for the TOUGHTEEN race.
No race day registration.

Rules
The race is a USAT sanctioned race so USAT rules are in effect. You must wear an ANSI-approved helmet during the bike portion of the event.
Age Requirements
You must be at least 15 years old and under 20 years old to participate in this race. Ages will be determined based on your age on December 31st, 2015, so if you turn 15 later this year you are still eligible to race.
Packet Pick-Up
Athlete check-in and chip distribution will take place on Wednesday 9/9 (NYC), Saturday 9/12 from 1:30-6:30 PM (Croton) or Sunday 9/7 5-6am. A parent or guardian must sign the USAT waiver at pick up if you are under 18 years old and you must bring your USAT Card (if a member) or you will pay $12.
Refund Policy
There are no refunds. Please contact us prior to Sept 1st with issues of registered teens that cannot complete.
Awards
Awards will be presented to:
High School Challenge
Athletes in the Challenge will depart with their age group wave and be timed and ranked within their age group. They will also be ranked on a point system depending on where they place in their age group. The school with the highest total points wins the Challenge.
Points are based on the following scale:
1st place: 10 points
2nd place: 8 points
3rd place: 6 points
4th place: 4 points
Non-place finisher: 2 points
Directions
From Saw Mill River Pkwy - take exit 26 for Taconic Pkwy toward Albany (north)
Take Taconic 6.2 miles to the exit onto Briarcliff Peekskill Pkwy/100/9A north
Follow Briarcliff Peekskill Pkwy/9A north to the Croton Point exit.
Turn left at Croton Point Ave and follow signs and marshal directions

Start Times
Transition opens at 5:00AM on Sunday morning. TOUGHTEEN athletes will be in the first wave at 6:40AM. The awards ceremony will begin at approximately 8:30AM and we will allow cars to exit the park immediately afterward.
