Dallas Texas Day of Crisis 2015 : |
Obstacle/Mud Runs : 2 Hours * 3 Miles * 4 Disaster Zones * 4 Dog Tags * 1 Sanctuary |
On June 20, 2015, Beaumont Ranch in Grandview Texas, is ground zero for real life simulations of the first harrowing minutes of a raging flood, forest fire, infectious outbreak, and ultimate flight-instinct with a “run-like-hell for your life” to the finish tent, called “the Sanctuary.
This brand spanking new obstacle course, designed by the pros at Cadence Sports and influenced by real life emergency personnel, challenges the “first responder” in all of us in a way that takes skill, fitness, team building, all while raising money for Project HOPE to keep delivering medical supplies and training to people in *real* crisis situations around the world.
You can win a dog tag for each obstacle, flood, fire, infection, run-for-your-life completed for a total of 4 dog tags that you can wear proudly.
Best of all, you experience less wait time for obstacles because participation is capped at only 1,000 for this inaugural event.
We drew inspiration for this course from our experiences at Project HOPE. We're a US-based nonprofit that delivers medical supplies and training around the world to communities devastated by floods, typhoons, earthquakes, hurricanes, and infectious outbreaks. When disaster strikes or emergencies arise, Project HOPE responds quickly by distributing essential medicines and supplies.
Our mission volunteers witness what you're about to experience in real life.
By registering for Day of Crisis, you're already helping to safeguard Project HOPE's ability to continue our mission.
If our mission speaks to you, you have the option to raise money and earn some awesome prizes like a Day of Crisis jacket, backpack and more.
Donations are tax deductible and 100% of the proceeds go to Project HOPE. Now you just need to get ready to give 100% at Day of Crisis - you'll need it!
