Join iCare for its Annual 5k Walk/Run in support of it's "Feed the 5000" campaign to provide meals and groceries to homeless citizens, homeless veterans and low-income senior citizens and families.
The event will start at 9am for adults and children with a few fun stops along the way for the children. The 5k race (3.1 miles) begins and ends near the site of the former 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant, 5240 Paint Branch Parkway, College Park, MD (accross the street from the Ellen E. Linson Splash Park). This is a flat course with beautiful scenic views of Lake Artemesia.
Guests are invited and encouraged to bring a canned good or non perishable item to help support the cause.
Note: Running Teams that register 25 participants or more will have their Team name/Organization featured on the back of the race T-shirt. For further details please contact one of the Race coordinators
