2015 Greenfield Lightlife Triathlon:
• This August the Greenfield Lightlife Triathlon celebrates its 32nd year and continues to provide a challenging race for veterans and an ideal setting for beginners. The triathlon includes international and sprint distances for individual athletes as well as two and three person teams.
• Triathletes swim the Green River that is less than eight feet deep and where the shore is always close at hand. Athletes then bike and run on courses that meander through picturesque Franklin County.
• You may wish to take advantage of the triathlon training program. Starting June 7th athletes can spend eight Sunday mornings on the actual course, guided by experienced instructors. The program will improve your fitness and boost your confidence. It is ideal for beginner, novice and intermediate athletes.
• Can't do the training but looking for support? Attend our clinic on July 25th. Aimed at beginners there is an hour and a half of explanations and tips then access to the course to try it out. See our website for more details.
• The Greenfield Lightlife Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned event.
• Lunch is included and awards given for overall and age group winners.
• Remember, To Finish it To Win.
