2015 Dirty Dan Dash:
• The Dirty Dan Dash is a 3.7-mile dash through Danville's River District, Dan Daniel Memorial Park and along the Riverwalk trail. The course features various obstacles, challenges and one nasty mud pit.
Course Information:
• The Dirty Dan Dash begins with a 20-30-yard mud pit. After the pit, runners make their way along the streets of downtown Danville where they face various obstacles from a fire jump to a dumpster dive. After the city side of the race, runners cross the Dan River on an old train trellis and run up a paved walking trail. Runners then face various obstacles throughout Dan Daniel Memorial Park including hay mountains, mud and web crawls and sand mountains.
• The course also includes an uphill climb through the woods.
• The race ends in the same mud pit in which it began.
