Life Time Tri Indoor Triathlon : |
Triathlon : Swim 10 Minutes., Bike 30 Minutes, Run 20 Minutes |
THE RACE
At your designated start time, you will begin with a 10-minute swim in our indoor pool. Shift gears and spend the next 30 minutes in the cycling studio. Then race toward the finish line with 20 minutes on the treadmill.
THE TRANSITIONS
You are allowed 10 minutes to safely change from the pool to the cycling studio and five minutes to move from the cycling studio to the treadmill.
Here’s how this one-hour race against the clock breaks down:
10-minute swim in the Lap Pool
30-minute bike ride in the Cycle Studio
20-minute run on the Treadmill
Performance is measured by distance covered in each of the three legs. The more distance you cover, the higher your score. Transition times are fixed at 10 minutes between the swim and bike and 5 minutes between bike and run. This is to ensure safe and courteous movement through the club.
You will start in waves of 6 people every 20 minutes. Race with your friends, family or colleagues — time to catch up socially and physically! Waves start at 8AM.
All participants will receive a Life Time Indoor Tri participant T-shirt, race bib, and swim cap. To participate, you must be 12 years of age or older.
THE SCORES
Race volunteers record the total distance covered during your swim, bike and run. The more distance you cover, the higher your score.
