Obstacle/Mud Runs : Adventure Run With Obstacles |
Contestants will be gathered in a private area, away from a specially designed, parkour-inspired obstacle course. At the signal, they will have 15 minutes to explore the course, test certain aspects, and devise their planned run.
After the initial period, they will gather again in the private area and be called out one-by-one to challenge the course and get the best possible time. Since each contestant runs away from the view of the others you'll be totally dependent on your wits and skills to conquer the course, with little input from those that ran before!
This time though, there's a twist...QUALIFIERS! At the beginning of the day, there will be five stations set up with challenges at each, ranging from laches to precisions to rock climbing. Contestants will get FIVE attempts to clear each challenge; the top 12 contestants with the most cleared challenges in the fewest attempts get to move on to the on-site course itself!
It's a test of power, speed, and critical thinking under pressure! Awards will be given to the top finishers and everyone will get a chance to push their limits and, most of all, have fun!
Kids (ages 6-12) will go first from 12-1:30pm.
Teens & Adults (13+) will go second from 1:30-3:30pm.
