Lace up your running shoes to support education and join us for the Inaugural Miles for Maiden 5K and Fun Run. The Maiden Elementary and Maiden Middle Schools’ PTOs are proud to host this community wide event on May 30, 2015. Come inspire children and adults to develop and maintain healthy bodies and minds in the community, while having fun raising funds for these local schools. By fundraising in our community, we are supporting our future leaders’ education while providing motivation to adhere to a healthy lifestyle. Grab your friends or challenge your family or coworkers, but most of all encourage our youth to get up and get moving by participating in the 5K or Fun Run & Fitness Walk as a family and let’s go Miles for Maiden!
Times:
Packet Pick UP: 7:30-8:30am
Fun Run Starts at 9:00am
5k Starts at 9:30am
Awards to follow the 5k event: 10:30am
Location will be Maiden Elementary School (field behind the gym)
201 North Main Ave, Maiden NC 28650
Awards: 1st place overall Male/Female
Age groups as followed: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
All Fun Run participants will receive a finishers ribbon!
All profits will ve equally shared by the Maiden Elementary School and Maiden Middle School PTO's
Strollers are allowed!!!!
No animals, roller blades, bikes, etc. will be allowed!
T Shirt dead line will be May 15th. (must be signed up prior to dead line to be guaranteed a race shirt)
