The second annual College Park Mothers Day 5K will be run on a fast, very modestly sloped course through the quiet, friendly streets of North College Park, starting and ending at the Hollywood Shopping Center. Runners will go past the Beltway sound wall, parallel the Metro Green Line, push past woods, stride through Duvall Field, and challenge the gently rolling service road on the way to the finish line. The men's record for this course is 18:03; the women's record is 19:20.
The race will begin at 7:30 am. Parking at the shopping center will be available until 7:00 am; race-day registration will close at 7:15 am.
Local celebrities will award large apple pies to the fastest 3 male and female finishers, and smaller fruit pies to age group winners in each category, and to the fastest jogging stroller team. Other prizes may be announced as race day nears.
All paid participants will receive race t-shirts.

From inner loop of Beltway, take exit 25 to Route 1 South. At Route 1 turn right; turn left at Hollywood Road. Continue on Hollywood to Rhode Island Avenue, turn left on Rhode Island and proceed to shopping center parking lot.

Early bird registraiton ends March 15! The race features several types of registration.
- Single. One registration, one racer, one t-shirt. ($20 early bird; $25 regular)
- Family Pack. Up to 3 registrations included so families can race together. Look for the section called "multi-person pricing" ($45 early bird; $55 regular)
- Stroller Start. During registration, let us know if you're running with a stroller.
Kids 8 and under race free, but are not timed and don't receive a t-shirt. Follow the normal registration process for your child; the price of the registration will be deducted during check out. If you have a budding runner in that age group, consider using a single or family registration.

From inner loop of Beltway, take exit 25 to Route 1 South. At Route 1 turn right; turn left at Hollywood Road. Continue on Hollywood to Rhode Island Avenue, turn left on Rhode Island and proceed to shopping center parking lot.
