Y2Y Time Prediction Run. Predict how long it will take you to run/walk this 8 mile course, then run/walk this course without the use of any timing devices such as watches, GPS or other electronics. Winners are based on closest to their predicted time to finish. This race covers all ages and tempos of runners/walkers.
Course Information:
Approximately 8 mile course which primarily follows the Cedar River Trail. Starts at Mercy Health Plaza/YMCA at 5264 Council St NE Cedar Rapids Iowa and ends at the Helen G. Nassif YMCA in downtown Cedar Rapids. Trail is open to public. You may encounter walkers, runners or bicyclists. Please use caution and extend courtesy to all trail users. The roads are open to traffic so use sidewalks where appopriate.
Directions:
Starting line is at 5264 Council St NE Cedar Rapids Iowa. Mercy Health Plaza/YMCA. YMCA is on the south side of the building facing Park Place Lane.
If you come in from I380 to the Collins Street Exit, go East to Council St.NE, turn left (north) travel one block on your right to Park Place Lane. You are at your destination.
If you come in from I380 to the Blairsferry Rd Exit, go east to Council St on your right, turn south to the first street on your left. You are at your destination.

Prizes for closest time predictions. 1st place is a one year free membership to the Cedar Rapids Metro YMCA (select 1 of 5 locations). Other prizes for participants too, (including but not limited to) 2nd and 3rd closest to prediction, fastest overall time!
Previous Results:
This race was previously known as the Mall to Mall. With the reconstruction of one of the Malls, we modified the course to include the destinations from the YMCA to another YMCA. Similar distance but new course.
