2015 Pensacola Beach Triathlon:
• Race Director Sean McSheehy's passion for triathlons started in 1981 competing and loving triathlons. He now has 25 plus years of being a Race Director.
• This event is held at Beautiful Pensacola Beach area. It is an amazing venue. Sean has a passion for this sport that he loves. First timers to seasoned veterans will appreciate his details with the start, transition, well marked race course, awards, shirts, finishing medals.
• Like we like to say "The Best T3 Party around at Flounder's Chowder House. The setting is family friendly with play gym. beautiful white sand bay for kids to play but has more than enough atmosphere to have an awesome Finishing T3 PARTY !!!!!
Course Information:
The swim. The swim is safe flat straight and very fast. The swim is the clear waters of Pensacola Bay. White sandy bottom. Minimal currents and waves. For first timers you can stand at anytime if problems occurs. For Youth simmer that swim 100 yards in less than 1 minute this your course it set up to be fast and SAFE !!!!!
The bike is very easy fast flat and an out back course!!! Five miles out and Back. Well marked with cones to separate traffic.
The run is in the neighborhoods. Very well marked. Many 5k use this course at Pensacola Beach.
The transition is the same venue at the very well Known Santa Rosa Beach Triathlon(SRI).
Our swim is in the bay, the bike course is 10 miles of the 18 miles of SRI bike course, and the 5k are the same roads of Santa Rosa Beach Triathlon.
