Footprints is hosted by the Texas A&M student chapter of the Society of America Foresters.
The funds raised are dedicated to supporting the Oana Popescu Love of Trees Memorial Scholarship and offsetting the cost of Forestry Club members traveling to the Society of American Foresters national convention. The forestry students will compete at the national convention in a "Quiz Bowl", a national competition focused on developing professionals in natural resource management.
