This is an event for first timers to a race, seasoned runners, elite racers, joggers,
walkers, skippers, and mothers with kids in tow — yes! Baby joggers are
invited. We even have a separate category for moms with baby joggers. We
love to see the kids out running, too. Girls and boys under 18 are very
welcome. Sorry guys, this one's just for the ladies! We'd love to see
you men cheering on the ladies or volunteering. Come join the fun this
way!
Course Information:
Once again we will be at the wonderful Quarry Lakes Park! The
route is on wide dirt and gravel paths, with a bit of pavement at the
beginning and the end. Easy on the knees! It will be clearly marked
with plenty of friendly, helpful course marshals and directional signs.
It’s not hilly! There are a couple of gradual inclines, though, and as
you get to the turn-around point, there’s a little hill to sprint up
before you turn towards home!
