The
premier off-road racing event of Pagosa, in the pristine San Juan Mountains.
Get dirty with the ultimate Pagosa
Duathlon experience. We have three epic races to choose from, all for the single-track trail enthusiast. Enter any race as a 2-member relay team (1 runner, 1 biker) or take them on solo in the women's and men's divisions. The Pagosa Duathlon has a race anyone can 'DU'!
All participants receive an official race t-shirt and post-race goodies. Special awards for the top 3 finishers.
Violence is a dirty word! Let’s get dirty for the cause. Proceeds benefit the Archuleta County Victim Assistance Program, a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization who promotes the belief that all people have the right to live free from violence. Serving survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault since 1996, advocates are available all day and night to support and provide comfort for those hurt by violence. Your entry fee will help ACVAP pay for their 24-hour hotline or counseling for a victim or child who have been abused. It will help a family relocate to a safer home or help a victim file for a protection order. ACVAP is an all-inclusive agency, providing comprehensive and reliable victim support services 24-hours a day. Get dirty and be a part of ending the violence in Archuleta County!
Race routes integrate some beginner, but mostly intermediate levels of single-track trails, dirt and gravel roads. Race is self-supported. Venue of the San Juan National Forest is backcountry racing at its best. Athletes trek through aspen groves, grassy fields, and old logging roads. Courses are sure to test your endurance, speed and ability.
From Highway 160 turn onto Piedra Road (CR 600) – follow Piedra Road for 6.3 miles. Turn left (just past cattle guard) onto FS Road 629/Turkey Springs Road. Continue on FS Road 629 for 2.1 miles until reaching Monument Park Road. This junction is the start and finish line, staging and registration area.
