Brief Description:	It's a new year and a new season for triathlons. This is the second in a series of 8 events over the summer, finishing with a championship race at the beginning of October. Both adults & children will race a super sprint distance that's specific for their age.
Summer Triathlon Series:	The 1 Can Tri race is event #3 (of 8) in the summer series. See www.fivestarntp.com for more information on the race series, and additional events.
Late Registration & Day of Registration:	Late registration is considered any registration after May 17th. We will have extras, but T-shirts will not be guaranteed on race day for anyone registering after May 17th. Day of registration starts at 6:30 am.
Entry Fee	$40 for kids & $45 for adults through April 23, add $5 afterwards.
T-shirts:	All participants registered by May 17th are guaranteed a great race shirt in their size. Women can also order a Women's Cut. Anyone registering on race day will receive a unisex shirt while supplies last.
Event Cap:	The adult race is capped at 180 participants...register early, we're expected to sell out fast. If you bring the kids to race too, register for an earlier wave so you're guaranteed to be finished before they start.

	11:00 am...5 & under Swim Start
Kids Race:	After all the adults have finished their race the kids will start their event. The adults do they're bike on the road, but the Kids Race will be completely on the neighborhood. Visit the Fivestarntp.com page for complete information on either race.
Course:	The swim will be done in the Club House Pool; The bike leg will be done on the the roads in the surrounding area for the adults, and on the quiet roads of the neighborhood for the kids. The run will be done using all paved & mostly shaded surfaces,
Adult Distances:	Super Sprint…250 swim, 8 mile bike, 2.25 mile run
Kids Distances:	5 & Under…25 meter swim, 2/3 mile bike, .15 run. 6 & 7…Swim - 50 meter, Bike - 2.6 miles, Run - .5 miles. 8 & 9...Swim - 75 meter, Bike - 4 miles, Run - .66 miles. 10 & 11...Swim - 100 meter, Bike - 4 miles, Run - .66 miles. 12 & 13...Swim - 125 meter, Bike - 5 miles, Run - .75 mile run
Estimated Swim Time:	Athletes will be placed for the swim start based on their estimated swim time. This will allow the faster swimmers to go first, and keep them from catching the slower swimmers. Please do your best to have an accurate time. You'll need to have your best guess at how long it will take you to complete your entire swim.
Can food drive	Please bring canned food items to support the SE Gwinnett Co-Op! For every 5 items you bring you will get a raffle ticket for some great prizes! No limit on the tickets you can earn! Our goal is to fill a truck!
Five Star Turkey Trot Qualifier:	All participants registered for the race will qualify for FREE entry into the Five Star Turkey Trot held on Thanksgiving Day. See race website for details.
Five Star Triathlon Championship Qualification	Top Finishers will earn a spot in the Five Star Triathlon Championships to be held on the 1st Weekend in October.
Awards	Adult Awards to the top 3 overall male & female as well as the top 3 masters male & female. Awards also to the top 3 age group finishers for male & female 19 & Under through 75+. Awards for kids will be in each division...top 3 in boys & top 3 girls.
Event Courtesy Policy	Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
