  • This event is a wonderful way to start the summer triathlon season AND keep the Memorial in Memorial Day Weekend.
  • Sea Isle Citys Tri for Our Veterans triathlon is a sprint distance event, complete with an ocean swim, a fast bicycle course, and a beach run. All proceeds will benefit two special Veteran organizations, The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund and Sea Isle Citys VFW Post 1963, for its efforts to rebuild the Veterans Memorial Fountain. A number of military teams will compete.

  • Course Information:
  • 1/4 Mile Ocean Swim, parallel to shore.
  • 12.3 Mile Bike course, fast and flat.
  • 3.1 Mile run course, on the Beach, out and back.
  • Directions:
  • From Philadelphia: Atlantic City Expressway to Exit 7S to the Garden State Parkway to Exit 17.
  • From New York & Points North: Garden State Parkway South to Exit 17.
  • From Points South: Garden State Parkway North to Exit 13, right at the stop sign to Route 9 North, right at traffic light to next traffic light, right into Sea Isle.
  • From Delaware Memorial Bridge: Route 40 East to Route 55, South to Route 49, East to Route 50, South to Route 9, South to Sea Isle.
  • Once over the main bridge into Sea Isle City, the transition area is directly in front you.
