2016 Lookout Mountain Triathlon:
Denver's premier sprint triathlon in the mountains just west of town. Enjoy the foothill course and the best post race buffet and party in Colorado
Course Information:
525 Yard Swim:
Swimmers will be seeded according to predicted swim time, and will start 4 per lane. Each participant will receive an individual start time, and lap counters will track your progress through the swim. Please be as accurate as possible when predicting your swim time. Estimated swim times can be updated until 5pm on June 13th. Swim times cannot be updated after June 13th.
10 Mile Bike Course:
The 10 mile ride follows well maintained paved roadways atop Lookout Mountain, offering scenic views, challenging climbs, and fun descents. This ride does not use the switchback road that climbs Lookout Mountain from the Golden side. It is entirely on the upper portion of Lookout Mountain. It is one of the best sprint bike courses in the state!
5K Run Course:
This fun, rolling run loop is almost entirely on dirt roadways and a little of singletrack that winds through the Mount Vernon Country Club property. You will pass through open meadows, and under shady pines as you tour this beautiful course!
Directions:
Exit Interstate 70 at Exit 254 and head north for 1.4 miles into Mount Vernon Country Club to the clubhouse and great parking attendants.
