2015 Walter Payton Sweetness "Fight Against Obesity" 5K Run/Walk and One Mile Fun Run :
• The purpose of this event is to increase obesity awareness in Mississippi and to promote physical activity in the community with a concentrated effort on the youth. The event is slated to take place on the main campus of Jackson State University where the 5K Run/Walk and One mile Fun Run will foster increased community morale assembling local residents, businesses, parents and students around a common goal.
