The 29th Annual Spearfish Canyon Half Marathon Event will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015.
Healthy lifestyles and supporting children in need; can you think of any better reason to run? Enjoy your day with a walk/run down beautiful Spearfish Canyon!
Pre-registration is STRONGLY recommended. T- shirts are only guaranteed to those pre-registered by 6/25/2015.
Age categories: under 12, 12-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
HALF MARATHON REGISTRATION & SCHEDULE:
$55 before 6/30/2015 online, drop-off or mail in registration
$65 after 6/30/2015 online or drop-off only
$75 day of the event 6:00-6:30 am registration at Spearfish City Park
Half Marathon Race Schedule:
- 6:00 am Check-in begins at Spearfish City Park
- 6:30 am Check-in ends
- 6:35 Bus leaves from Spearfish City Park to take runners to the startline- Spearfish Canyon
- 7:30 am Half Marathon begins at Savoy in the canyon, ends in Spearfish City Park
All Half Marathon Participants receive a medal.
Top three male & female runners in each age category receive a medal.
5K WALK/RUN REGISTRATION & SCHEDULE:
$30 before 6/30/2015 online, drop-off or mail in registration
$30 after 6/30/2015 online or drop-off only
$40 day of the event 6:00-6:30 am registration at Spearfish City Park
5K Walk/Run Schedule:
- 6:00 am Check-in begins at Spearfish City Park
- 6:30 am Check-in ends
- 7:00 am 5K begins in Spearfish City Park, ends in Spearfish City Park
Top two male & female runners in each age category receive a medal.

Directions:
Half marathon begins in the canyon and ends at the City Park- paved downhill road race.
5K begins and ends in the Canyon and follows a paved bike path and paved road.
