Participate in the Inaugural Sweetwater Triathlon! Our triathlon will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Nineveh, Indiana beginning at Sweetwater Lake Beach. This chip-timed race, new for 2015, includes a half-olympic distance triathlon, duathlon, aquabike and aquathon!
Sweetwater Lake are located in the northeast corner of Brown County, approximately 12 miles northeast of Nashville, 20 miles from Franklin and 20 miles from Columbus. It is approximately 1 hour from downtown Indianapolis. The lake is man made with a 125 ft. dam and 110 ft of water at the dam. Sweetwater Lake is 3 1/2 miles long and 379 acres. The lake is among the most clean and clear water in Indiana, while the hills surrounding the lake are fierce. Plan to watch the fish swim below you in the crystal clear waters on your fast, flat swim!

Check-in time: 6:00-7:30 am at Sweetwater Lake Beach . The race will begin at 8:00 am.
Insurance
A USAT License is required. If you are an USAT member, BRING YOUR CARD and a drivers license on race day. If you’d like to purchase a one-day license, it is available for $12.

The Sweetwater Triathlon accommodates 400 athletes. If the field is not full on race day, race day entries will be accepted at the rate of $70 per athlete including team participants. Pre-registered participants will receive a Sweetwater Triathlon t-shirt. A t-shirt is not guaranteed for race day entries.
