Hit the trail and leave the road behind in the 11th annual EX2 Off-Road Half Marathon and 10K. This race has been the go-to event for hundreds of area trail runners looking for an awesome day of running in the woods. Held in one of the largest and most beautiful parks in the Washington DC metro area, these single-loop race courses have it all, from forested hiking trails, to wide fire roads, to streamside single-track.

Operated by the National Park Service, with 15,000 acres, 37 miles of trails, and 21 miles of fire roads and pavement, Prince William Forest Park has stunning terrain and a truly remote feel for being just 30 minutes south of Washington DC.

Both of these beautiful courses tranquil streamside trail running, twisty single-track hiking trails, challenging hills, and forest fire roads. With its stunning terrain and remote feel, Prince William Forest Park is a hidden gem located just 30 minutes south of Washington DC.

From Interstate 95:

- NEW STAGING AREA - In 2015, we will stage out of Cabin Camp 1 located in the Northern section of the park. The entrance to the staging area can ONLY be accessed from Rt 234, which is one exit north of the main park entrance off of I95. Please follow the directions below:

Directions to Race Parking:
- From Interstate 95, take Exit 152, heading west on Rt. 234 (toward Manassas on Dumfries Rd).
- Go 2.5 miles on Rt. 234 and take a left onto Pleasant Rd. The road sign is not highly visible but you will see signs for Cabin Camp 1 and 4. This is the Northern entrance to the park. This left turn is just after the Trailer Village Entrance.
- The grass parking lot is about ½ mile down Pleasant Rd. Follow the Race Parking signs.
- Park and follow the signs to Check-In.

Approximate driving times: From Washington, D.C., 30-40 minutes; from Fredericksburg, VA., 20-30 minutes.
