2015 Alleghany Highlands Triathlon:
• 5k run beginning on nicelytown road.
• 2 mile paddle down beautiful cowpasture river.
• 13 mile bike through clifton forge to ymca.
• Lunch provided with great door prizes
Course Information:
race begins at sharon community center on the Cowpasture River. the 3.1 mile run follows Nicely Town Road (the run is down this road half way, then turn back to finich the run at the community center. the 4 mile paddle is on the most scenic part of the cowpasture river, put in at the sharon community center and take out at the steel bridge. 12 mile bike route follows mckinney hollow road to route 60, then through clifton forge to the ymca at low moor, va.
