2015 St. Anthony's Triathlon:
- The dates are set for the 32nd annual St. Anthony’s Triathlon and now is the time for all athletes to register.
- Whether professional or novice, youngster or young at heart; there is an event for everyone during the Triathlon race weekend, April 24-26, 2015.
- Participate in one of two USA Triathlon-sanctioned races during the weekend.
- Meek & Mighty Triathlon - Saturday.
- St. Anthony's Triathlon - Sunday.
Course Information:
SWIM:
- The swim starts at Spa Beach, approximately 3/4 mile south of the transition area.
- Follow the orange buoys during the entire swim course.
- Yellow buoys mark the two turns.
- The swim course ends at the steps leading up the seawall in Vinoy Park.
BIKE: - Each athlete is required to wear an approved helmet during the bike segment.
- You must have your helmet securely fastened on your head before you mount and dismount your bike.
- Drafting and blocking (impeding the progress of passing cyclists) are not permitted during the race.
- USAT officials will monitor the bike course and strictly enforce these rules.
RUN: - Water stations are located at the run start and at every mile on the run course. Each station will be stocked with Water and Gatorade.
- You must complete the entire course and circle the traffic cones at the run turnaround.
- A timing mat will be placed at the turnaround to ensure each athlete completes the entire run course.
