2015 McLOUD TRIATHLON AND AQUABIKE:
Swim: triangle counter clockwise course
Bike: nice asphalt roads, plenty of police monitored intersections (3) all right turns
a few rolling hills; basically a very fast bike course
Run: all enclosed within the park w/two loops - includes 2 easy inclines
a PR 5k course

500 yard OPEN WATER SWIM
Anticipated water temperature will be in the upper 70's, borderline wetsuit legal.
WADING START ON BEACH. TRIANGLE COURSE, COUNTER-CLOCKWISE (BOUYS ON YOUR LEFT) AND EXITS ON EAST SIDE OF BEACH, TO A SAND, GRASS, CONCRETE RUN TO TRANSITION AREA

13.8 mile - new bike course for this year!

Sprint course is 5K (3.1 mile) run, is held within the Wes Watkins grounds on asphalt road. 2 time out and back course. Gentle up and downs.
Directions:
DIRECTIONS TO EVENT: Wes Watkins Reservoir is east of Oklahoma City. Take I40, exit 172 (Harrah Rd and head north to 44th St/Redskin, go east to Arena, then south on Arena to park entrance.
If coming from Shawnee, go west on I40 to Exit 176/McLoud Rd; then north to 44th/Redskin; west on Redskin to Arena, then south on Arena to park entrance.
