2015 University of Miami Triathlon:
The University of Miami Triathlon will be held at the Homestead Miami Speedway and will feature four events in its inaugural year. Two standard-rules races, a sprint and an Olympic distance, as well as two draft-legal races, a sprint distance and a mixed-team relay (two men, two women, each athlete completing a super-sprint distance triathlon).
All proceeds will benefit University of Miami Triathlon's student athletes as they compete around the state in the Florida Collegiate Triathlon Conference and in Clemson, SC this spring at USA Triathlon Collegiate Club National Championships.
The University of Miami Triathlon is the final race on the Florida Collegiate Triathlon Conference's spring race calendar, and will feature some of the state's top talent as they race for school pride. Cheer on your alma mater or your favorite team as they fly through our course that was made for speed!
Course Information:
• Centered on the Homestead Miami Speedway, this course was made for SPEED!
• Athletes will enjoy a current and wave-free swim in the crystal clear lake before they head out onto the flat and fast bike course.
• The run is almost entirely contained inside the speedway, so you can keep an eye on your friends and rivals!
• Athletes will get a behind-the-scenes tour of the Homestead Miami Speedway and enjoy the scenery along Homestead's winding, palm tree lined roadways.
