2011 TRINONA KIDS TRIATHLON:
The 2011 TRINONA Kids Triathlon offers youths the opportunity to participate in a full-fledged triathlon within the beautiful and safe terrain offered by St. Mary's University in Winona, Minnesota.
The race is for children of all abilities ages 5-13.
Children should be able to Swim, Bike and Run comfortably in a mildly competitive environment.
The race will be a lot of fun and include a t-shirt, finisher award, post-race snacks and other giveaways.

KIDS RACE COURSE & DISTANCES:
The TRINONA Kids Triathlon will be a fun, casual event, but it will be timed and allow kids the opportunity to compete against others in their own age group.
Age groups will offer different distances, but all will include: Pool swim
Biking on campus
Run around the outdoor track.
Distances are as follows: Ages 5 - 7: 25 yd Swim 1 Mile Bike 14 Mile Run
Ages 8 -10: 75 yd Swim 1 Mile Bike 12 Mile Run
Ages 11-13: 175 yd Swim 2 Mile Bike 34 Mile Run
Participants need to bring: Swim suit
Goggles
Towel
Bike
Bike helmet
Running shoes
Any other items needed for the swim, bike and run portions of the event.

Entire event takes place at St. Mary's University campus. Conveniently located near the intersection of Highway 61 and Highway 14 in Winona, Minnesota.
Two hours south of Minneapolis.
Half hour from LaCrosse.
45 minutes from Rochester.

TRINONA TRIATHLON WEEKEND SCHEDULE:
Kids Triathlon to take place on Saturday.
There will also be a cycling time trial on Saturday.
On Sunday Trinona - The Battle For The Bluff will be held with Sprint & Olympic Distance events scheduled.
