The people who live in Wyoming (who are called Wyomingites, in case you were wondering) are proud of their heritage and know what it means to be Cowboy Tough. But the Casper community wants to be a little more specific and has created a challenge to see if you are Casper Strong. Racers in the 7- to 12-hour Solo Adventure Race will start at the North Platte River with a 12-mile run up 3000 vertical feet to the top of Casper Mountain. Once at the top, complete several challenges, such as archery and a physical challenge. Then it’s onto mountain biking, where you will have 2 loops to gauge your mettle. Then continue on a swift downhill ride to begin your inner tube journey down the Casper Whitewater Park and a wet dash to the finish line. The question is “Are you Casper Strong?”
