Race staff and support will direct participants from the pool area to a secure bike transition / staging area. Please note there will be NO parents allowed in this secure area to reduce congestion. Experienced support staff will match racers with their assigned location to assist them in finding and returning their bikes to the proper area before they take off on the final segment, the run.
Swim Course:
The swim is conducted as a time-trial start based on assigned race numbers, with lower numbers starting first. Racers will start in ascending numbers about every 5 seconds. The pool is a 25 yard outdoor pool. We will begin with the 12-15 age group, followed by the 8-11 year age group, and finishing with the 5-7 year old age group.
The 12-15 year old racers will complete 150 yards (six lengths of the pool), 8-11 year old racers will complete 100 yards (4 lengths of the pool), and 5-7 year old racers will complete 50 yards (two lengths of the pool).
