Beautiful Lake Louisa State Park, famous for its six beautiful lakes, rolling hills and scenic landscapes is the setting for Floridas Half Marathon, 10K and 5K. One of Central Florida's most challenging and scenic course. The course will take runners on paved surfaces and trails throughout the park. With the safety of minimal cars you are bound to enjoy the scenery, lakes and winter sun. You may even have the opportunity to see equestrian riders and wild life.
Course Information:
All three races will start and end at the parking lot near the water front beach of Lake Louisa.
We have 3 great races that include trail and paved roads. Located in Lake Louisa State Park you will get to experience the quiet nature of central Florida. Our 5K will be a flat trail out and paved road back. Our 10K is split between paved and trail with challenging rolling hills and great views. Our Half Marathon will allow you to experience every aspect of this great State Park...rolling hills, lakes, orange groves, flat terrain, great views, pine trees, and wild life.
