Back for the 11th year running, come see why this incredibly fun and challenging race is so popular. Teams will bike, paddle and run through the beautiful piney woods of Central Texas. The Big Chill Adventure Race offers something for veterans and beginners alike. Choose the sprint or 12 hour race or grab your friends and try the all new ‘Tandem/relay’ style sprint race.
The “Chill” is the race that started it all. This year we serve up all new stuff as well as some old favorites. Expect a tough as nails race, awesome shwagg, cool special tests, and more. Back to the ‘Chill’ this year is Too Cool’s famous “skip point”. Teams that bring in 5 canned goods per racer are permitted to skip a checkpoint during the race. Donations directly benefit the victims of the Central Texas wildfires. The race will happen rain, snow, or shine, so be prepared for any type of weather. Race headquarters will be back at Osprey Hall at South Shore on Lake Bastrop.
