Muncie Obedience Training Club is excited to host its 3rd annual Tails and Trails 5K walk/run and 1 mile walk for people and dogs. The 5K can be done as a competitive race or for fun and the 1 mile walk is non competitive. All entrants receive a t-shirt, goodie bag, and entry for door prizes. Registrants after Sepember 19th are not guaranteed a t-shirt or goodie bag.

$5.00 park admission fee not included.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the Muncie Obedience Training Club. Organized in 1946, MOTC is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching responsible dog ownership by offering puppy and dog training classes, encouraging participation in canine companion sports, and holding educational programs open to the public.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Packet Pick-up: 8:30 - 9:30.

Dog Etiquette:

Only bring dogs that are well-behaved around other dogs and people.

Dogs must be on leash at all times.

Please use a regular leash no longer than 6 feet.

NO retractable leashes.

No dogs in heat.

Please cleanup after your dogs

Course Information:

Beautiful, wide all-weather trails through the mostly flat prairie terrain for the 5K. Most of the 1 Mile walk is through the woods on a finely crushed gravel all-weather trail.
