2014 Community Harvest Project's Harvest Home 5K & Festival:
In keeping with our mission, Community Harvest Project’s Harvest Home 5K trail run is a great opportunity to build an engaged and healthier community by participating in a fun and physical activity with family and friends. The 5K course will be along the scenic trails of the Grafton Land Trust, right off of Community Harvest Project’s Main location, ending near our Harvest Home Festival event. There will also be a 1 mile walk option that will begin shortly after the 5K, for those who want to participate by slowing things down a bit and enjoying the property. New this year: there will be a 1K Kids Run at 11:45am following the presentation of awards at the festival.
Each participant will receive:
- A race t-shirt
- A bag of event goodies
- Free entry into and lunch at our Harvest Home Festival following the race, which is sure to be a good time with fun activities for the whole family, delicious baked goods, and our very own pumpkin catapults and apple cannon!
Course Information:
This is a trail run on the Grafton Land Trust trails; there will be rocks, sticks, trees, and all of nature present on the course! Check out our 5K Course Map 2014!
Directions:
The race will be held at Community Harvest Project, 37 Wheeler Rd, North Grafton, MA.
Wheeler Rd is accessed off of rt.122/140 in Grafton, easily accessed by the Mass Pike, Rt30, or Rt.9.
Parking will be available on site- volunteers will instruct upon arrival.
Please plan to arrive at least 30 mins before race time to ensure a proper start time.

All proceeds go to support Community Harvest Project operations.

This race is one of a three-part series, along with the Reliant Foundation’s 5K Road Race on Saturday, Oct. 4th and the Boroughs Family Branch YMCA’s 5K Spooktacular on Saturday, Oct. 18th. Register for all three races to receive a discount and special gift!
