2014 Greater Palm Harbor YMCA Kids Triathlon:
• The Greater Palm Harbor YMCA will host the 7th Annual Kids' Triathlon “Swim, Bike, Run for Freedom” on Sunday, September 7.
• The event starts at 7 a.m., and its dedicated to our men and women serving our country.
• This is a great opportunity for any child between the ages of 5 and 15 to become an official triathlete for the day!
• The Greater Palm Harbor YMCA partners with the Palm Harbor Tri-Warriors Triathlon club to stage the event.
• It’s a great way for the Y and the club to introduce kids to the sport.
Course Information:
• The Greater Palm Harbor YMCA has set up a safe course that is perfect for a kids first triathlon.
• Last year more than 160 kids became a triathlete!
Race Distances:
• Ages 5-6, 25 yard swim, 1 mile bike and ¼ mile run
• Ages 7-10, 100 yard swim, 2 mile bike and ½ mile run
• Ages 11-15, 200 yard swim, 4 mile bike and 1 mile run
