2014 Shaver Lake Triathlon:
• The race takes place in and around the beautiful, majestic town of Shaver Lake.
• Both the Sprint and Olympic distance will start and finish at Camp Edison..
Course Information:
Swim:
• The swim will launch at the shore of Rockhaven Point.
• 2 laps (1 Mile) for The Olympic distance triathlon.
• 1 Lap for the sprint.
Bike:
• The Bike transition will be in the parking lot by rock haven Point.
• Riders will exit Camp Edison and turn left on to highway 168 and ride to the left turn on Dinky Creek Road then ride to the turnaround point and back to transition.
• Olympic = 12.5 miles one way - 25 miles total.
• Sprint = 5.7 miles one way - 11.4 miles total.
Run:
• The run will be on the Camp Edison trails.
• There are steep hills.
• The Olympic race will be two laps of the shorts course.
