The 2nd Annual Rocketman Florida follows on the heels of the 2013 Inaugural event, which was the first ever sporting event allowed behind the secured gates of the Kennedy Space Center. The event was a finalist in the worldwide Triathlete's Choice Awards for Race of the Year, Bucket List race and Most Scenic race course. This year's event is limited to just 1,000 entrants.
Swim: The event is based at the Astronauts Hall of Fame, with the swim occurring in the pristine Indian River.
Bike: The bike is the Signature Piece of this event and takes athletes past all of America's Iconic space landmarks such as the Vehicle Assembly Building, Launch Control Center, Launch Pads and much more.
Run: The run course takes place out and back to the Valiant Air Command Museum where athletes will have the chance to run past and underneath historic and vintage aircraft from World War I to the Present -- Amazing!
