WHAT THE HECK IS THIS?

The Hometown Hero Run is an adventure challenge run with 10+ obstacles along a 3-4 mile course.  Join us in honoring all of our local, hometown heroes with this run at Honeysuckle Hill Farm.  Who is your hero?  Train and run for them.

OBSTACLE INFO

Specifics on obstacles will not be released until a week prior to the event.  There will be 10+ obstacles to complete.  Train hard because these will not be easy!  Hill climbs, tire pulls, slides and smoke barns will be a few of the grueling obstacles throughout the course.  Be prepared to get wet and muddy.  Average completion time is 2-3 hours.  There will be showers and changing areas for after the run.

JUNIOR HERO CHALLENGE

The Junior Heroes will complete a mile of obstacles which includes trudging through a mud pit!  Junior participants must be age 7 by the day of the Hometown Hero Run.  There will be no exceptions for safety purposes.

PARKING

FREE!! Parking attendants will park you in the fields at Honeysuckle Hill Farm.

FUN FOR THE FAMILY

Honeysuckle Hill Farm stands by and supports a family atmosphere.  Portions of the race, including the finish line are spectator friendly.  Zip lining through the woods is another way to view the runners.  Family friendly means NO ALCOHOL.  Small children will be able to ride ponies, hunt for Easter eggs (it is Easter weekend and all), along with other activities.  The Hometown Hero Run and Honeysuckle Hill Farm aim to make this event amazing for all ages.  Bring your family!

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are what make events successful.  We are looking for volunteers!!  All volunteers have the option of running the course for only $20!  Please contact Jess at [email protected] if you are interested in volunteering!  Volunteer with a group of friends.  Everything is more fun with friends!
